At TRACE, I contributed to campaigns that united culture, music, and audiences worldwide. From promoting major festivals like Afro Nation and Nyege Nyege to supporting flagship events such as the TRACE Awards, my work encompassed static design, motion reels, and on-air branding. Collaborating with world-renowned partners, I brought TRACE’s Afro-Urban identity to life through bold, modern visuals crafted to resonate across both digital and broadcast platforms.

This campaign proved that broadcast-clean design and social-first motion can compound. Using one visual system across TV and socials, Trace saw 12,541 conversions and 78,525 sessions (≈95% organic), with usage climbing from ~200 to ~500 DAU. The biggest wins came from clarity (legible on-air toolkits) and momentum (high-contrast reels built to be re-cut fast). Next round.

Trace Awards

1

Brief

The TRACE Awards serve as TRACE’s flagship event, celebrating Afro-urban music and culture worldwide. The campaign focused on capturing the event’s scale, prestige, and energy with visuals designed to excel across all platforms. I created static assets and animations for international ads, TV broadcasts, and social media, maintaining consistency while highlighting TRACE’s bold identity. The cohesive suite of designs amplified the event’s visibility and reinforced its cultural influence on a global stage.

Brief

AfroNation is a global celebration of African music, culture, and energy, uniting artists and audiences worldwide. During my time at TRACE, I collaborated on this partnership by crafting statics, reels, motion graphics, and on-air branding, translating the festival’s vibrant spirit into visuals that spoke to both local and international audiences. Every asset I created was about capturing movement, rhythm, and the pulse of Afrobeat culture, shaping an experience that felt alive across screens.
