The TRACE+ is more than just a digital streaming platform.  TRACE+ offers a global stage for Afro-Urban music, stories, and creativity. When it came to making the platform better, bolder, and creating a stronger identity, I took the initiative to help it speak in a language that actually works online. From static layouts to motion reels and on-air branding, my role was to take TRACE’s unapologetically bold cultural energy and translate it into a visual identity that not only looks modern but also demands attention, whether on a tiny phone screen, a streaming platform, or a broadcast tower.

This campaign proved that broadcast-clean design and social-first motion can compound. Using one visual system across TV and socials, Trace saw 12,541 conversions and 78,525 sessions (≈95% organic), with usage climbing from ~200 to ~500 DAU. The biggest wins came from clarity (legible on-air toolkits) and momentum (high-contrast reels built to be re-cut fast). Next round.

Brief

The TRACE+ rebrand modernised the platform’s identity while celebrating its Afro-urban roots. The goal was to establish a fresh visual language, digital-first, and globally relevant, yet still reflects the vibrant culture and energy TRACE embodies. The campaign targeted younger streaming audiences, aiming to stand out amongst international competitors. This required developing static and motion graphics, on-air branding, and promotional assets that are sharper, more dynamic, and adaptable across both broadcast and digital platforms.

Brief

TRACE Academia set out to become more than just an e learning platform by showing how education and culture can intersect in inspiring and accessible ways. The goal was to create a professional yet vibrant identity that attracted learners while appealing to corporate partners. I designed static visuals and motion assets promoting programs developed with partners such as Google, the World Bank, and Visa, conveying both institutional authority and TRACE’s bold, energetic voice. The result was a visual identity that balanced professionalism with creativity, strengthening the platform’s credibility while staying true to its Afro Urban roots.
